I am trying to put together a sub-group for people who live in Cary/Morrisville/Apex/Durham (Raleightes are also welcome but it will be a long trek for you)so on days that we can't get into the regular events (unless you are constantly monitoring its kind of hard to grab a spot)and on days we don't feel like driving 20 miles to Raleigh we can get together somewhere in cary/morrisville/apex and hit some. I tried to get into peach tennis but they always have more people on their wait list than on their regular one on any given day. I already have a few people(all 3.0 and above) who showed interest but figured I would post it online as well. Email me with your day/time/location preferences and hopefully we can work something out.

I was going to update the thread last friday but got distracted. Anyways I have called pretty much every park in Cary/Morrisville/Apex and they all said the same thing, that they can't allow people to call ahead and reserve(ofcourse Ab had already told me that but I guess I needed to hear it from the officials :-). The only exception aws CTC (Cary Tennis Center) but ofcourse it is going be a bit more expensive compared to our regular meetups (~5$) and you will be going head to head with Peach Tennis club.

I have yet to try Morrisville/Cary Acquatic center, actually I called them last thursday and they sounded positive about letting us rent their tennis courts but they only have two and the main person was out of town, I need to follow up with them on that.

I live in the Cary/Morrisville area and would be interested in some meetups a little closer to home as well.

I think this is a great idea. I live in Apex, and would like to play nearby. Apex community park has several courts? Weekday mornings after June 10 (school's out), and evenings work for me. Also, I enjoy the 12:00 on Sunday that Ab offers in Raleigh. I am not a 3.0 - but working hard to improve, yet, I'm finding fewer meetups that are open to players below 3.0?

I would be interested in courts in Cary on weekend days or evening.
