In north Raleigh since '97, now in Cary. Used to have a 2-3 night a week tennis habit from the McEnroe-Borg era 'til Pete won his last Grand Slam title. Was a solid USTA 4.5 singles league player in Phoenix in my 30s.
Better than average results in USTA 4.5 men's singles leagues and, more often than not, was having my butt handed to me in 5.0 league, usually by hard-hitting college players. Now? All these years later? 4.0?
Re-establish a network of contacts who love the game, crave the physical and mental exercise, but place enjoyment of good sportsmanship at the top of their list. Played little doubles. Perhaps it is time to grudgingly become more than familiar.
The dynamic changes, variety of mental solutions and physical execution.

Thank you Jeff, I also really enjoyed playing with the TTE group. Great organizers too!
Thanks, Jeff! I'm really enjoying the Tuesday night group. Hope to start playing in some other groups, too.
Thanks Jeff! I have really enjoyed the TTE meetups and plan to attend many more.
Thank you Jeff for the note on attending 10 events! It might be the most tennis I have ever played. What a fun group this is and a great idea to help beginners meet people and love the game.
Jeff, thanks for all you do and to the other organizers as well! Happy Holidays!
Larry
