  •  Oh, and the background in my photo is the port at the island of Elba. I studied abroad in Italy a few years back and was lucky enough to go on a sailboat trip to that beautiful place.

  •  I would love to come by and check out the group next Tuesday. Thanks for approving me as a member! I'm looking forward to meeting you all! My novel is a YA fantasy about an enchanted forest and it's still in the very early stages...mostly it is an idea and not even a draft yet. :)

  •  Hi Gurpreet,
It's been a very long time since we have talked. How are you? Are you happy and having fun? Are you still in the writers group?
I moved to my home state Gorham, Maine two years ago. My life finally is making sense to me. Attending a Hopegroup meeting every Tuesday at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Me. I live in a 1900's white farm house. My mom, sister, brothers, and cousins live close by. Kerri and the girls live in Colorado. 2009 I took two trips to CO.

  •  Gurpreet-- Jordan was happy to come. He enjoyed delivering a beat down on us-- on me, especially. But I can get revenge. In the form of vegetables. Thanks for making him feel welcome.

  •  Gurpreet -- Those are kind words, even though undeserved. All I can honestly take credit for is: (1) having the brains to ask Christel to partner with me, and (2) staying out of her way on the court as she kept hitting winners. In no way were you "owned" by us. You were a gentleman in the way you eased your serve to avoid aggravating Christel's wrist. You, Janie and Lisa & Christel and I had 6 great close sets all of which could have gone either way. Can't wait to do it again! Lots of fun!

  •  Thanks, Gurpreet, for the kind words. It is very easy to reach 60 events in a short time because it is such a great sport with such fun people!

  •  I enjoyed meeting you at Vickie's today and am looking forward to day 2 of the Reiki II class tomorrow. I see you are a member of the Crystal Energy Meetup and my dear friend Vanessa's Metaphysical Club Meetup. The logo for your Write On! Meetup reminded me of this site: http://www.bulwer-lytton.com/ Check out the 2009 contest results.

  •  Thank you Gupreet! I enjoyed playing with you as well!
I have not signed up for this Monday, January 18th due to having a crown put on my tooth since I'm not sure if I will feel up to playing. I hope to play consistently on Mondays from then on though.
    Thanks again!

  •  Hi Gurpreet, Brad, Jose and I were very disappointed at the no-show, but your stepping in made a whole difference. We witnessed solid technique, sound strategy and had few bonus tips. Jose and I had a great set against you and Brad, and had lots of fun. Thanks a lot for everything :)

  •  Likewise Gurpreet.. got to experience first hand your passion for the game!! Hope we get a chance to play again soon.

  •  Thank you, Gurpreet ! It is always fun and challenging to play against and with you ;-)) We missed you at the party on Saturday night !

  •  Thanks for flattering me, Gurpreet. It was great seeing you out there (rare, but great all the same). I try hard to have at least two-three good groupings each event, getting people paired with players of their skill level and whose company they enjoy. I enjoyed reading the recent "drama" on your greetings board, lol. I'll be seeing you.

  •  Hello Gurpreet - Thanks for letting me know about the Peach group. Last time we played together it was a great competitive match. It was good to meet you and I do understand why you have all these friends. You have a very positive way of reaching out to people. We'll see what happens the eighth.

  •  Hey Gurpreet - I had a great time and wonderful team members; thank you for organizing this and again for my 'same-day' participation ;) If ever you need an even number.... I am an email away! (lol) ~
Great group - fun time - looking forward to playing with you all again soon!
