Introduction

Hi, I'm Cheryl. I've been playing tennis a very long time but knee pain along with the loss of my partner (my husband) kept me off the courts. With some life changes, I'm slowly getting my game back! I look forward to taking part in this group.

What is your NTRP playing level (http://tiny.cc/ntrp)? Beginner: 1.5-2.0. Most players: 2.5-3.5. Skilled: 4.0+

It used to be 4.0+. I competed on my college tennis team which led me to coaching the team once I graduated. I coached from 1988-1997 when I moved here to Raleigh. I'm not sure what skill level I would be now.

What would you like to do in this meetup?

I would like the opportunity to rally with other players to try to regain my game. I have been hitting on the wall and using the ball machine once a week.

What do you love about the game?

I love the skill and good form that tennis must have to be enjoyed; watching the game played well by professionals.
